Laurence joined LegacyTexas Title in the spring of 2008 to serve as Chief Executive Officer. As CEO, he is responsible for the oversight and growth of the Company, drawing on his energy and experience in the evolving real estate market. After practicing as a real estate attorney for a Dallas law firm, he served as a Closing Attorney and Underwriting Counsel before becoming President of the Texas division of a Fortune 500 title company. He uses his knowledge of title and contract law, along with the hands on experience of a closing attorney, to ensure the optimum results in guiding both residential and commercial transactions through to closing. He is routinely invited to speak at continuing education classes for the real estate community and is a certified MCE instructor. He holds a BA degree from Rhodes College and a law degree from Southern Methodist University, School of Law. A life long Dallas resident, Laurence and his wife and daughter are actively involved in the community and are members of the Children’s Medical Center’s Children’s Trust and the Young Friends of Ronald McDonald House.
